In SPECTRUM: A Gender Project, MakeShift Circus Collective delved into gender in collaboration with community members occupying diverse gender identities. The exploration produced a circus show driven by and culminating in community dialogue which will be shared free of charge in highly accessible locations in metro Atlanta. After each show, audiences were invited into facilitated dialogues. The performance season was captured on video and a short film series will be created from the material. The film produced will allow us to continue to invite our community into spaces for dialogue and transformation around gender.
