Rikki was born in St. Petersburg Fl. At the tender age of 13, on the day of his very first performance with Chuck Davis’s African American Dance Ensemble & the day of his father’s death, Rikki Mckinney made a vow to be one of the most unique African American Male Dancers in the USA. He decided to use the arts and entertainment as an outlet to express himself and to create his fantasy of performing all over the world. Since then, Rikki has been moving at the Speed of Light.

Twist: An American Musical, Directed by Debbie Allen, Tell Hell I Aint Coming, The Wiz (The Scarecrow), Swan Lake, Carmina Burena, Pirates of the Phantom Waves, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater “Memoria”, Cirque Du Soleil’s World of Coca Cola Grand opening(choreographed/danced), Fercos Brothers: Untammed Illusions, Ringling Brothers Circus, Disney Cruise Lines, AND STAGING/CHOREOGRAPHING HALFTIME SHOWS FOR NFL/NBA: SUCH AS THE ATLANTA FALCONS, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES, MIAMI HEAT, DALLAS COWBOYS, ALAMO BOWL, & RECENTLY CHOREOGRAPHED Gymnastics Level 9/10 FLOOR ROUTINE FOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIP ALL AROUND TOP FINALIST “NIECE BUTLER” OF GA (AGE 13)
Rikki has Choreographed, Creative Directed, Artist Development, Backup Danced, and Personally Assisted for Recording Artists such as Paris Hilton, Jill Scott, Janelle Monae, Black Eye Peas, Tina Pittman, Raven Symone, Destiny’s Child,All American Rejects, Chaka Khan,Big Boi of Outkast, Mademoizell, Big Sean, Cherish, Jenna Dray, Creflo Dollar, John P King, Yolanda Adams, Dem Franchise Boys, Trey Songz, Young.Joc and Bridge to Grace.
Recently Rikki has been taking his experience from the Stage, and transitioning to Dancing, Choreographing and acting for Television Networks such as BET: REED BETWEEN THE LINES, CW:THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, LIFETIME:DROP DEAD DIVA, BET:BOBBY JONES NEXT GENERATION, MTV:MADE, NICKELODEONS: “Hi-Jinx” &”Tiena”, CW:URBAN IDOL, PBS:Consumerism The Musical, GA LOTTERY:ALL ACCESS MUSIC SEARCH, GA LOTTERY: SALUTE TO AMERICA 4th of July Celebration, Rikki was the Host of Dance Grind T.V:The Cypher”Tech Edition. As well as Local, National, and Worldwide Commercials such as: Rooms to Go, Publix Supermarket, AT&T, Comcast, Cartoon Networks “Adult Swim”, Foreman Mills, and Ga Aquariums “DOLPHIN TALES”. His on Screen Film credits include “Tyler Perrys “I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF”, I AM BLUEBIRD, STOMP THE YARD, and THE 3 STOOGES.
RIKKI HAS BEEN FEATURED IN MAGAZINES SUCH AS L’UOMO VOGUE MAGAZINE (10 PG SPREAD), EBONY MAGAZINE, JET, KONTROL MAGAZINE, PEACH MAGAZINE, BLACK MEN’S HEALTH, LOWE’S ART GALLERY.
IN 2012, RIKKI WAS AWARDED: DESTINED TO DANCE BEST MALE DANCER IN ATLANTA. RIKKI MCKINNEY ALSO TEACHES MASTERCLASSES, JUDGES COMPETITIONS, AND MENTORS/EDUCATES YOUNG DANCERS THROUGHOUT THE USA AND ABOARD.
In June of 2013, Rikki.Mckinney recieved news that GA Lottery Salutes America “4th of July” Live Broadcast at Centeninal Park, In which he was Assitant Choreographer & Dancer had just recieved an Emmy Award for Best Regional Live Coverage.

The Celebration of Dance Awards Show nominated and awarded Rikki McKinney as Male ATL Concert Dancer of 2017.
Rikki McKinney was also recently featured in the New Horror Film cult Classic ” The Vault, starting James Franco in which he shows his versatility as an actor, Security Guard Myles.
